Tax Credit and Rural Development HOTMA calculations are now available

WT2+ now supports both pre-HOTMA and HOTMA-compliant Tax Credit and Rural Development certification calculations.

Project Policy screen enhancements:

The Project Policy screen has been enhanced to allow users to enable HOTMA calculations by program type. Additionally, policy settings that need to be annually updated for inflationary adjustments are now grouped together on the screen. Bug Fixes and Improvements:

• On the FSS Case screen, users can now null out the Contract End Date and save without error. This will allow users to create Enrollment FSS addendums with a null value for field 17j2. This change supports the Final Rule for FSS. (IR-127415)

• The following VAWA forms with an expiration date of 1/31/2028 have been added to WT2+ that can be added to the Scribe menus on the application and household screens: HUD-5380, HUD-5382, and HUD-5383. (TM-10617)
• When viewing certifications for HUD-50058 program types, the certification screen will no longer prompt the user to save if no changes have been made. (TM-10594)
• Certifications for HUD-50058 program types that use an alternative reexamination schedule will now calculate field 2i. "Date of Next Reexamination" correctly if the prior recertification type is an Annual Reexamination Searching. (IR-124393)
• The following HOTMA-compliant state LIHTC TIC forms are now available for WT2+: New Jersey (IR-124593), South Dakota (IR-125424), Indiana (IR-125443).
• The custom rent calculation for "Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP) - Tenant Based/Project Based 1/1/2023" has been corrected to include income from assets in the total income amount. (IR-126423)
• On MTW HUD-50058 certifications, field 19k for total income minus deductions now calculates correctly. (IR-127119)
• On Multi-Family (TRACS) certifications, if the user selected a Y or N value for Rent Override and then chose blank, the MAT records were generating with an N value instead of blank. This has been fixed. (IR-127591)

• Housing Authority search will no longer give an error if the search results contain a tenant who has two housing specialists, which had previously resulted in a duplication in the results. (TM-10623)
